Introducing Amelia

Here she is.  My new cow Amelia. 
Isn't she great?  Amelia is actually an original oil painting from artist Cari Humphrey. 
I've been admiring her art for quite a while.  She has so many paintings that I would love to buy...but, for now, Amelia is the only painting that I have bought.  Cari told me that her daughter named Amelia after one her friends from school. 

I've always been very fond of cows which may explain my love of Gary Larson's Far Side cartoons.  Before Scott and I were married, I told him that one day, I would have a pet cow.  I realize now that owning a cow would be far more work than I care to take on.  I'm sure that Scott is thrilled to know that the only cows at our house will be on canvas.

    I love Amelia! Has Scott put her on the wall for you? Are you planning your next purchase? Looking at Cari's banner, I wouldn't mind having that half-eaten cupcake. Congratulations!

    Maybe Robin and Michael could keep your pet cow for you? Sounds like a good idea to me!
