A Spanish speaking man once asked me what my name was. When I said, "Julie", he replied, "Oh, just like the month?" I said, "Yes, just like the month". I feel sure someone named Julie spells their name with a "y".
Blossom loved steak night! She even let Balto have a few bites. Well, she didn't get a vote. If she did get a vote, it would be a very clear "no".
My coworkers for half of the day:
My loves...
I go into the office for the other half of the day. I'm technically supposed to be working from home but, I just can't do it for 40 hours a week. At the end of the day, I like leaving my work at the office.
Daniel loves yard ornaments. He especially loves pinwheels. For reasons only Daniel knows, he decided to put every yard ornament he had in mom's flower pots.
I spy:
3 pinwheels
2 spinning tulips
1 4th of July star
1 solar light
and 1 Christmas light
I love that kid. I keep telling him, "Daniel...you do you".
I have finally found Bible studies that are the perfect fit for me. I stumbled across The Daily Grace Company and ordered the study "It is Well. Walking Away From Anxiety and Into God's Word". I am on Week 2. I love it so much that when they announced a half off sale, I ordered several more studies. Then, they announced a sale of imperfects for even less and I now have enough studies to get me through 2021. I highly, highly recommend The Daily Grace Company if you are looking for a Bible study.
I also ordered this super cute note pad to help me get my head straight each day.
My Bible study partner almost every day...
Balto loves to sit beside me while I read.
I'm also loving mask fashion these days. Here, I am modeling cats in ice cream cones. I keep ordering masks with cats on them these days. How fun!
Blossom is hanging in there and loving life!
Have a great week!
I must say, Daniel's garden is the happiest, most colorful, color-filled garden I've seen. What's fun is at first glance it looks like only flowers. Love the cats in ice cream cones mask. I made a mask from a fabric that reprints historic newspaper stories. One is about Dr. Salk's polio vaccine. I cut my fabric so that story is front and center. People must not be reading as I go by because I haven't seen anyone do a doubletake. Hang in there, Blossom!
ReplyDeleteWhat a fun mask! I would want to know what the article was but, you know me, there is no way I would look! Daniel has inspired me. I'm going to have to buy a pinwheel for my yard. No one will get to see it but, it will bring joy to me.
