The picture shows about 6 large loads. I couldn't show all of today's pile because I would have had to wake Scott up so that I could take the blankets and the sheets off of the bed. I also have to admit that there is about 2 more loads that didn't make the picture. Actually, after seeing this picture...it doesn't look so bad after all. OH and by the way, I will not be putting Greta (cat) in the washing machine. Or the dryer. Just a good policy to have.
Where do you keep your cow? I remember us having a cow years ago. Our Mother would churn butter and make buttermilk. I really like Buttermilk; don't care for sweet milk (that is milk that you take from the cow). I never had to do that. Just thankful for small things.
ReplyDeleteI can understand why you do laundry on Saturday; I did mine on Saturdays for years when I worked unless I had something to do or somewhere to go on a Saturday. In that case, I would do it at night. I felt like I had more time to clean house and wash clothes on Saturday. Connie says to this day we did not go anywhere on that day until the house was cleaned and clothes were washed.
I am so glad you are not putting Greta in the washing machine or dryer. I remember my niece, Frances Winchester (she passed away a couple of years ago) telling us about her cat getting in the dryer. She had put some athletic shoes in and left the dryer to do something; did not realize the cat had gotten in it until she opened the dryer to check on the shoes..WARNING..NEVER LEAVE THE DOOR TO THE DRYER OR WASHING MACHINE OPEN; ANIMALS AND CHILDREN CAN GET IN THEM!!!
Did you get enough rain overnight? We sure did. Still ... we can be thankful it was no worse than it was.
I am awaiting your next posting.
Love to both of you.
