Snow Day!

Sunday, January 31, 2010

I have to say that I enjoyed my mini vacation this weekend.  My house is clean!  WooHoo! I also had a lot of fun playing in the snow with Sophie.
This is Sophie.  Sophie is the world's most hyper dog and a lot of fun.  She is Kevin's dog (my brother) but she lives at my parents' house.   She gets fed at both houses.  When my brother decided to turn his garage into a new addition to his house, she packed her bags and moved into my parents' garage.  Sophie has invisible fencing and can come all the way to my property line.  Valiantly, she spends her nights protecting us all from wild animals - unfortunately, she wakes us up in the process.  (She can be rather barky at night.)  I love Sophie.
That's an earlier picture of Sophie sitting at the end of her invisible fencing waiting for me to walk over and play.
Luckily we now live next door to mom & dad so the snow/ice didn't stop us from all having Sunday Dinner at mom's.
That's a picture of Daniel trying to steal Papaw's apple pie.

Well, I've reached my snow quota for the year.  Bring on the Spring!  Moo.

  1. I really enjoyed reading your blog and looking at the pictures. You are right, we have had our quota of snow and cold weather ... please let us have Spring.

Sophie is a very pretty dog. She has evidently been adopted by your Mom and Dad. Does Kevin live close to you? I am sure your Mom and Dad are glad you and Scott are close so you can have dinner with them on Sundays. I hope Kevin and his family come also. Family is great. My granddaughter, Amanda, lives at home so I see her quite often; however, do not get to see my grandsons as often as I would like. They are grown now and have things to do at home; however, we do get together on birthdays and holidays. I love having them, especially at Christmas, they come on Christmas Eve and Christmas morning.

Good picture of your Dad and Daniel. I bet that child can get most anything he wants from his "Papaw".

Take care and give my love to all.

    Ms. Aggie
