Daddy & Me

First of all, let me apologize for yet another post with hockey pictures.  You will be glad to know that this will be the last one for a while.  The Hurricanes did not make the playoffs and frankly, it ain't lookin' too good for the Checkers at this point.  I believe that the real Checkers have been abducted by aliens as they have all of a sudden started to suck stink. 

Saturday, Dad and I went to the Checkers' game. 

(Thanks to mom for taking this photo with my phone.  Good job mom, you didn't chop our heads off!)  Here we are riding the train to the arena downtown:

And here's the view from our seats.  2nd row!  We were right on the glass for all of the good hits.  In goal was Justin Peters.  Justin spent a good portion of the season in Raleigh this year backing up Cam Ward of the Hurricanes. 

 

I love spending time with my dad.  It was a fun afternoon.
