One of my oldest and dearest friends got married yesterday. I wish I could find the very first picture I have of the two of us. In the picture, we are putting a puzzle together on the floor of Ms. Lathan's first grade class. Ms. Lathan asked us to look up at the camera and smile. Oh the stories we could tell.
I had the honor of being a bridesmaid at Deanna's first wedding many years ago. This time, her beautiful 15 year old daughter had the honor standing up for her. Here we are, 40 years after that puzzle...
Scott and me....
Deanna's sister, Kristen and her husband, Frank.
Scott enjoyed not one but, two pieces of cake.
It was a beautiful day. I wish a lifetime of happiness to the newlyweds. I'll be right there with them for the journey.
Today, Balto started a new exercise program. He always carries around shoes or clothes with him but today, he is carrying around a 3 lb weight.
Daniel always insists on sitting all over me. Here he is watching SpongeBob.
As usual, he got a hold of my phone....I'm rolling my eyes.
Mom, Dad, Daniel and I sat outside in the summer heat for several hours. I think I took these pictures during the 5 minutes that the sun was behind a cloud. Daniel is trying to get a cricket to ride his John Deere. He said that it is a John Deere because it is green.
He couldn't get a cricket to stay inside the tractor so he found some rollie pollie's to go for a ride instead.
Fuzzy the cat who lives somewhere nearby came to visit. Daniel decided to tell Fuzzy about his John Deere. (True story.)
Just a typical summer day with my family.
It looks like everyone had fun at Deanna's wedding. Best wishes to the bride and groom. I love the dress you wore. Great color and flattering fit. It looks like Fuzzy (or Fuzzball) has adopted your family. Good thing that tractor wasn't a little larger or Daniel might have given the cat a ride--whether it wanted to ride or not. :D
