I bribed Scott into coming with me. I told him it was my Valentine's Day present from him.
He really enjoyed playing with the cats too.
So many kitties and not enough time! Scott and I fell for a cat named "Jimmie". Jimmie was uber friendly and very playful. Here is his photo from the adoption organization's website.
We didn't adopt Jimmie; Scott said he thinks Blossom wouldn't want another cat. Maybe that is true but, I really miss having a cat. We loved our Greta for 18 years and I'm ready for another fun feline in the house. I'm working on it....
After playing with cats, we ate lunch at Haberdish.
On the way home we stopped by my parents' house and the boys helped put together a new TV console for Dad.
The console is to replace the giant speaker you see in the background from 1974 (or before). Dad put it there last year to hide the TV cords. Please note the toilet brush holder dog. Oh, and Billy Bass the singing fish in the background. I'm pretty sure Jeff Foxworthy would consider our family to be redneck(ish).
It was a great day in the Queen City.

You and Scott need a cat. Blossom not wanting another cat is a poor excuse. Get a cat! Oh my, I want what you had for lunch. Except maybe for what's in that second food photo. Is that okra? Never had it, but I hear it's slimy. Um, not for me. Everything else? Divine.
