I am so thankful for Labor Day. I love a holiday where I don't have to buy or cook anything. Labor Day came at the perfect time for me this year; I needed some time to catch my breath.
We left work early on Friday and I enjoyed coming home to spend some much needed time with my dogs. Here, Balto is showing his "hamster teef".
Hanging out in Scott's office...

Early morning sunshine...
Daniel is fascinated by a cassette tape that is in the radio his mom gave him.
He saw the craft that I had for my class to make at church on Sunday morning and asked me to do it with him. Here he is showing off his creation.
It is a magnet so he thought he would put it on his bicycle.
My sweet Laura.
Daniel got in trouble for not listening to Papaw when he was asked to stop shooting his laser tag guns in the house (they were super loud!). Here he is pouting while Papaw is trying to make nice.
Kevin is helping Dad look up tractors on the computer while Mom does dishes. Kevin grilled burgers and hotdogs for everyone on Labor Day.
Balto was on patrol while I got ready for work this morning.
Our beach trip to Hilton Head is still very much up in the air due to Hurricane Dorian. We have until Thursday to cancel our reservations and I'm not sure that we will even know what the Hurricane will do before then. My prayers are with those affected by this horrible storm. My heart breaks for the people of the Bahamas.
Here's your chuckle for the day....
I hope whoever put that map together has the grace to be properly embarrassed by his/her geographical ignorance. Makes you wonder what kids have been learning in school in the years since we graduated. Weather forecast aside, it looks like you had sufficient sun to enjoy an outside barbecue. We had rain all day yesterday. Temperatures were in the 50s when I walked the dog this morning.
ReplyDeleteGreat dog photos! What's the cat doing in the house?
