Dad is doing much better.  Last Thursday, we went out to eat...

On Friday, Dad cut the grass...

The weed eater wasn't working so my mom cut the weeds at the mailbox with a pair of scissors.  I can't imagine what the people driving by must have thought!

On Saturday I looked out my window and saw...

Scott is building a Lean-To

Daniel decided it was his "airplane".

Next up was Mother's Day.  I was in charge of lunch so I ordered out from Olive Garden.  Since I teach Sunday School on Sunday mornings, it is just easier to get take out.  It was a GREAT day!

Daniel wanted to watch YouTube videos on how to build a generator.

Blossom helped water the grass.

For my Vermont friends, it was 93 this weekend in Charlotte.  Ugh.

Daniel told me, "I am enjoying being out side in the fresh air".  Kevin was with us too.

Because Daniel doesn't like to throw things away, he asked me to take a picture of him with the box I was getting ready to throw out.

This picture is from tonight.  When I walked into their house,  I could tell they were in their bedroom.  After what happened the last time I walked back there, I was fearing the worst.  Turns out, they were just getting ready to go out to eat!  Look how great they look.  Clearly, I need therapy for my anxiety issues.  I go on Thursday.  Heehee.

Daniel likes to read the comics in the paper.  I actually took this photo to document his dirty socks and firecracker underwear.

Blossom helped Scott put out pine needles tonight.

Finally, we have a new chair so our old chair is temporarily in the middle of our den.  Blossom doesn't mind.  Please note that Balto is on the couch.

Poor Balto blends in.  He gets sat on quite a bit.

I think that catches me up!  I hope everyone is having a great day.

  1. Looks like Blossom does most of her "helping" by standing or lying near whatever is happening. :D Your Dad is looking better--hats off to him for keeping up with the yardwork. It got very warm here in Vermont over the weekend, too, although nowhere near 93 degrees! With any luck we'll see temps like that only a couple of times each summer.
