Thankful Thanksgiving

Friday, November 23, 2018

I hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving.  My family had a wonderful day.  We were blessed to have Scott's uncle, Ken, and his brother, Will, with us.  Oh...I just realized that I don't have a single picture of Will!  He was in the den watching TV when I took these photos and didn't get a single one of him!

Laura loves to steal food off of everyone's plate.  She is fast!  Rana has had to buy cheeseburgers for strangers at McDonald's because if Laura sees something she wants, it's hers!  Here she is stealing from Mom's plate.  I didn't start out trying to get this photo, it happened while I was taking the picture.

 Dad was stuffed!

Ken made banana pudding for Mom and I could kick myself for not taking a photo of it.  It looked as good as it tasted and that is saying a lot.  Laura ate three bowls.  She called it "Nana Ice Cream".

Mom was sitting on the couch enjoying the parade when Balto decided he needed to sit with her.

Daniel decided to recreate the photo of Laura stealing food.

He also stole my phone and I found this on it...

Today I am going to the Mac Tabby Cat Cafe with my neighbor, Malissa, and her daughter, Samantha.  I am under strict orders NOT to adopt a cat.  I'm really nervous about going without Scott there to enforce this rule.  I want a cat so bad but I can't come home with one.  Stay tuned for my next post to see what happens!!!!

Random photo of Dad cutting the grass on Wednesday...

  1. Looks like you had a fun Thanksgiving--food thief and all. I'm sitting here with my jaw open in disbelief at the photo of your Dad mowing on Wednesday. That's the day I had to cancel a doctor's appointment because of snow squalls. I could barely see across the street! Temps are currently in the teens and it looks more like Christmas than the day after Thanksgiving. As for what might or might not happen at the Cat Café tomorrow, remember it's easier to ask for forgiveness than for permission. Just saying...
