We almost had a white Christmas here but it was just a few hours too late. I took A LOT of pictures (especially of the kids) but I'll try not to post too many. We'll see how it goes...
Scott built a snow buddy...
After throwing snowballs and Scott building a snow friend, we decided to walk next door and see Sophie & the kids...
And as you can see, Nana came out to play too! The kids absolutely loved the snow and we all had a blast.
I'm still learning how to use my SLR camera and I'm sure it's pretty obvious that I had it on the wrong setting. Thanks again to my friend Michael for helping me to salvage my snow pictures. They were even "blue-er" than they are now!
Here's hoping that the snow melts VERY soon. It's back to work tomorrow for Julie.

Congratulations on an impressive snowfall! Looks like a wet one. A dry snow doesn't stick to branches and bend them like that. Enjoy it while it lasts -- unless it's very cold out, as soon as the sun shines it will start to melt away. P.S. That storm is just now reaching us in northern Vermont.
ReplyDeletehey julie, nice pics! some of those would look great as b&ws. scott should have shown you how to adjust your white balance, the pics were a little on the blue side- great composition though. nice job.
ReplyDeleteIt was such a pretty snow & you did get some great photos! I was going to mention the same thing as the above poster, try adjusting your white balance...it has made a world of difference in my photos!
