The last week of January was an absolute blur. Literally. My beloved eye doctor moved to an office across town so I decided to try a new doctor at a different practice. Mistake. This (well known, local) practice has not upgraded their technology and for the first time in almost a decade, I had my eyes dilated. Due to my sensitivity to the drops, it took almost 6 hours before I could focus my eyes at work.
Needless to say, I'll be going back to where I came from.
Thursday, I went for my annual physical. Do these pictures make you nervous? You can't tell from the photos, but the wall color is actually a very calming shade of blue.
For the most part, my appointment went well. My sweet doctor had a cold and wore a mask for our visit. I was sent home with a diet change and news of an upcoming colonoscopy. Also, I was told that I can't gain any weight because she believes my mouth structurally makes me susceptible for sleep apnea. If I gain weight, it can cause my tongue to be too big for my mouth. Who knew??? I've been told by the dentist that I have a small mouth, but I had no idea this put me at risk for sleep apnea! I think I'll heed her advice and try to keep from gaining weight. YIKES!
Mom started out the week with a very swollen leg. She was unable to move around very well. After more days of an increased dose of Lasix, her leg is smaller and she is moving around a little better.
In other news: Scott took down the Christmas tree on February 1st. With temperatures into the 70's last weekend, I think it was time.
For reasons only she knows, Blossom likes to stand between legs.
Dad photobombed my picture of Mom making oyster stew.
My Honda CR-V hit a big milestone today....100,000 miles. It doesn't seem like it has been 10 years that I posted goodbye to my Ford Explorer and hello to my CR-V.
Oh the places we have been. (Nowhere exciting, really).
I don't know who to credit for this one but....
Have a good week!

Your CR-V is 10 years old?! It doesn't seem that long ago that you bought it. I've been through 3 cars in that time, but then I lease mine so when the lease is up I usually let the dealer talk me into a new one. There's something strange about that last photo--like why is the fox wearing a coat? Makes me wonder how much of that pic is Photoshopped.
