Scott and I have just returned from a trip to Savannah, Ga & Hilton Head Island, SC - but that's another post.
While we were gone, a tree fell on our house - but that's another post.
When we returned, Scott cut the cable/internet/phone lines with a trencher - but that's another post.
Today, I will post the last page of the "Me Book" that I wrote in the 2nd grade. It's titled .... If I Were An Eskimo.
The word you can't read is "would".
My poor husky....it looks more like a 4-legged duck. And why are my arms wide open? Maybe because my shirt isn't on?
Also, can somebody please tell me what a sledge is? In a strange way, I kind of think my face actually looks like the face on this picture.
I would so love to know what some of my classmates wrote in their books.

I love the gripping conclusion of your "Me" book! That is hilarious about your shirt not being on in the drawing! But I think your arms are wide open to catch the falling snow! Thanks for sharing this fun book with us!
ReplyDeleteOh my, sounds like a crazy week in your household...I look forward to the stories told with Julie wit & humor! Have a great week!
A sledge is a very big, low sled for transporting heavy loads over the snow. Can't wait for all the stories you hinted at in the beginning of your post. And what is a trencher? (Besides being a wooden cutting or serving board, or in Medieval times, a thick slab of bread used as a plate.)
ReplyDeleteI don't see the resemblance. Nice book though. Clearly your arms are spread wide to hug your duck-dog!
ReplyDeleteI need to find mine! I know Mom kept it...
