I'm obsessed with Newman's Own Chocolate Bars - 54% Cocoa. I don't know why...I just am. You can imagine my anxiety when the Whole Foods at SouthPark not only didn't have any but had taken their placard away.
I sent an email to Whole Foods. Then, I sent an email to Newman's Own. Whole Foods quickly got back with a "We'll check on it". Newman's gave me silence. After 3 days, I contacted Newman's on Facebook. This is what I received back.
Today, I received an email from Whole Foods saying that the line had been discontinued. Hours later, I got an email from Newman's Own saying the line had not been discontinued and I should try some other health food stores or Amazon. I emailed "Mark" back who explained to me that Newman's had discontinued the Super Dark Chocolate line (not my candy bar) but Whole Foods had discontinued carrying ALL of their bars. I sent Mark back an email that simply said, "I love you".
My boss said he is so glad the "chocolate bar saga" is over. He was getting tired of hearing about it. I told him that I still have to find the bars now. REWARD if you spot my candy bar at a local location.
Random update: on a story from earlier this week: The "ass" is being removed from our office building elevator tonight at the tune of $695.
Random thought: Reconnecting with a good friend is sunshine to your soul.
Random photos: Tonight as I was exercising with one of my workout buddies, Denise Austin, Balto came over to say hello.

I didn't even know Newman's Own made chocolate bars. Salad dressings and sauces, yes, but I've never seen NO in the candy aisle. Recently I saw somewhere that chocolate would become extinct sometime in the next 30 years or so. Frankly, I can't live in a world without chocolate.
