Blossom is continuing her weekly hydro & laser therapies. Last week, her appointment was on a Saturday and I was able to go watch!
Yes, that is 8 weeks of drool on the backseat of Scott's car. I'm guessing he didn't notice it before.
Look at my baby girl working so hard.
This week, she meets with Dr. Cain to check her progress and see where we go from here. So far, she is doing great. They say things can change overnight with Degenerative Myelopathy but, she does not seem to have progressed since she started therapy.
After therapy, I was able to take Daniel to the Fall Festival at our church. Laura was at horse therapy so she caught up later. Daniel fell in love with the bunny rabbits. There were several rabbits but you can't see all of them in this picture.
Sno-Cone tongue!
Since Kevin has been a "single Dad" for 3 weeks while Rana was in Syria, I offered him a night off. I told him I would keep the kids and let them watch a movie at my house. He wanted to come too. We ate pizza and enjoyed The Lego Movie 2 while eating popcorn in Scott's theater. Laura watched the entire movie. That was a big accomplishment!
Rana barely made it home this week as they closed the Beirut airport 2 hours after her flight left for London. I'm so glad that I didn't know about the political unrest in Lebanon until AFTER she was home! Thank God she made it.
Here's Laura enjoying our "class" at church. I say "class" because it is just the two of us. I was surprised to see today that she knew how to use a typing program I pulled up online. I'm praying for God to show up big and give us the ability to communicate with Laura.
This picture is blurry because it is a screenshot of Blossom running, yes RUNNING, around the back yard. What a blessing! Every day is a gift.
My cute mom after she got a new perm yesterday.
The dogs got their hair "done" yesterday as well. I tried to get a good picture of their beautiful coifs but, this was the best I could do...
Have a good week!

I wish our temps would reach 70 degrees--that would be Indian Summer for us. I have an awful feeling we'll be going directly to Winter this year. Bunnies, huh? Daniel used to wish for a hamster, didn't he? Blossom seems to enjoy her therapy. I love how the tank is transparent so you can see how she moves in the water. Also love how she's capable of running zoomies in the yard. Great work, Blossom!
