For those of you who aren't from the south, BBQ means actual BBQ (almost always pork)- not hamburgers, not hotdogs etc.

While I was visiting Mom and Dad after work on Tuesday, Dad said he wanted to go out for BBQ...so we went. Dad posed for my picture (with a cheese biscuit in his mouth).
Mom and Dad shared a plate of BBQ chicken. Here is Mom posing with "her" plate.
After BBQ, we went to Krispy Kreme for doughnuts. The "hot" light was on and you just can't pass up Krispy Kreme when the hot light is on.
I want that BBQ chicken on your Mom's plate! Looking at your first photo, I can honestly say I've never had real BBQ. I suspect I'm missing something good.
